Client: Entrust Accountants

The Challenge

When new legislature dictated that the names of accounting firms were no longer required to contain the surnames of the firm’s partners, this was the catalyst for change for a well-established Vancouver accounting firm.  Once they had decided upon and registered a new company name, Entrust had a logo and stationary package designed, and then required a specialized marketing agency to complete the branding process and take the brand to market via a new website and brochure design.  The design, colour selection and imagery had to reflect the professionalism of the firm and capture the culture of the organization with a clean, sophisticated and unique creative flair that would make Entrust instantly recognizable in the marketplace and differentiate the company from its competitors.

Target Audience

The firm’s target audience consists of Canadian and BC-based business owners and private businesses executives who require professional accounting, tax and business consulting services.

The Solution
The brand imagery created for Entrust utilized numbers instead of alphabetical letters to tell the Entrust story.  This simple yet visually stimulating effect was mirrored in a companion brochure which highlighted the firm’s culture. The same look, feel and brand imagery was also carried throughout advertising, a tri-fold information piece, a recruitment brochure which detailed Entrust’s unique selling features, a personal tax checklist mailout and several internal communications initiatives.

Results

The unique brand elements created for Entrust successfully reinforced the company’s image, garnered new business leads, and enhanced to perception of the quality and professionalism of the firm.  The brand is now recognized in the marketplace and differentiates Entrust from its competitors.  The website is perceived as very creative, with a sophisticated, clean design.  It is often cited by job candidates during interviews as the reason they approached Entrust, because they felt the website paints a clear picture of the culture of the organization, which they felt an affinity with.

In addition to resonating with industry professionals, the website has performed extremely well, has enhanced both business and recruitment for Entrust and has received consistently positive feedback.  In the client’s own words, the response to the new creative has been phenomenal.”
